Join the American Kestrel Partnership today by creating a Partner Profile. You will have instant access to all the resources you need to make research and conservation contributions as a citizen scientist.

2. Build and Install

Use our nestbox blueprint to build nestboxes and select an installation site. Or visit our gift shop if you wish to purchase nest boxes. If you need materials support for building your nestboxes, we have tips for finding local support within your community.

3. Register and Monitor Nestboxes

Register your nestboxes and then print one nestbox monitoring data sheet per box for collecting data during the spring breeding season. We recommend nestbox monitoring visits every one to two weeks.
