Allyson grew up in Boise and remembers sitting awestruck through a Peregrine Fund presentation at her elementary school—a formative experience that helped inspire her interest in conservation work. She studied English and biology at Scripps College, and was delighted to join the The Peregrine Fund in 2010. In her position as Partnership Programs Coordinator for the American Kestrel Partnership, she has the opportunity to reach out to a broad audience and communicate the passion for raptors that so influenced her as a young student.

In her free time Allyson enjoys exploring the Idaho desert, writing, rollerskates, and playing human fetch for her parrot.
